After ten years, this wine pours a beautiful golden hue. Creamy, glossy, complex nose of dried almond, dried white currant, gooseberry, and black tea. A dry but melt-in-your mouth palate shows less fruit compared to the nose. Structured, savoury and silky, with notes of peat and black tea. The finish is long, coating my mouth in a glossy sheen.

The wine has benefited greatly from ageing, filling out considerably and positively blossoming after one decade – living proof of why I have bought a case of every vintage from 2015 to the latest release, 2022. 📈

One of the best two or three bottles that I have opened this year.
